The Cleethorpes Band is one of the oldest in Lincolnshire with a history stretching back to its foundation in, or before, 1840. The Cleethorpes Brass Band played in the Leeds Arms Inn, Cleethorpes on 9th June 1840, that's the earliest reference we've found. The band became a registered charity in 2020 and currently competes in the Fourth Section and the North of England Championships.

Under the leadership of Musical Director Brian Harper we have a very healthy ethos of having fun at rehearsals and concerts whilst being very committed to developing players and raising standards across the band. We also have a Training Band which welcomes new/returning players of all ages and abilities with instruments and tuition provided.

We rehearse on Thursdays & Sundays at 7.30pm. The Training Band rehearses on Sundays at 6pm.
