Cleethorpes Member of Parliament, Martin Vickers, congratulated the band on their sucess at the North of England Championships and wished us the best of luck when we compete at the National Finals in Cheltenham.

At the Northern Area finals in Durham Lincolnshire bands took the first two places in the 3rd section championships.  Barton Community and the Kingsway Printers Cleethorpes bands go forward to represent the northern area in the UK Championships on 16/17 September 2017.

The North of England area finals took place in Durham on Sunday, the band were placed 2nd, a fantastic result and worthy of all the hard work from our conductor and players.  The first 2 bands qualify to play at the UK Championships, Cheltenham in September.

The band's Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 19th March at 7:30pm followed by a rehearsal
